Guest Frank
Try to make sure conor, she gets the best chance possible, to catch her rabbit. Try and find a squatter, walk right up to it and when it gets up and she sees it, slip her. A dropper is also good, start at 15 yds and increase as she gets better at catching them. After a catch, make loads of fuss of her and go home, keep her keen, bit by bit. If the breeding is in her, she should be ok, keep us posted. Frank. Quote Link to post

Guest oldskool
3 or so runs a night is usually what i do... i have 2 ready to start on the lamp, i think this time i'll wait for the right night and try slipping them on hoppers instead of squatters... when i was training molly i found she wouldnt run down the beam... i think it was because she was always lookin for squatters at my feet Quote Link to post

Guest ripstop
she is growing nicely alright irish lurcher cheers. snoopdog she is lurcher x lurcher. mix of deerhound wolfhound greyhound bedlington and collie ive been told TRY A GOOD FEW MASSAGES JUST ABOVE WHERE THE LEG IS TENDER AS IT WILL HELP THE BLOOD FLOW AND QUICKEN RECOVERY. ONLY LEAD WALK AND DONT BE TEMPTED TO SLIP THE DOG UNTIL 110% FULLY FIT - TRY A WEAK TIGER BALM OR MINT OIL LINIMENT AND PLENTLY OF HEAT AND WATER AND THE DOG SHOULD BE GOOD IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS TIME. EVEN WHEN THE DOG SEEMS WELL ENOUGH AGAIN WAIT ABOUT ANOTHER SEVEN DAYS JUST TO BE SURE. MASSAGE - ROUND IN CIRCLES UP AND DOWN THEN GENTLY KNEED AFFECTED AREA NOT TOO MUCH AS TO CAUSE DISTRESS TWICE A DAY FOR APPROX. 5 MINS SHOULD DO THE TRICK Quote Link to post
