lampinglurcher 36
could a MOD please remove this thread as it is firstly a classified ad that if allowed on this forum at all should be in the classified section and secondly has absolutely noting to do with hunting. as far as jumping down the guys throat goes ~ i fairness, what was he expecting? a pat on the back for being one of the horde who are the downfall of the breed as workers? NO! if noone else does i'll be the first to jump down someones throat for breeding for form without a thought for function. why why why?! Kris; this is a hunting forum, where people passionate about working their bull breeds like to come and gain info etc on the subject. NOT where pet owners come and sell their show dogs on for £500 a hit. bullshit IMO So what are you saying, remove every post that doesn't relate to hunting (the mods will be busy) or just ones where people are selling pups?. im saying of course it's going to irritate people when its definately not to do with hunting in any way, shape or form. he knowingly posted this thread on the BULL BREEDS section of a HUNTING website. im not saying remove any post that doesn't directly relate to hunting but this is going against alot of what the lads on here (myself included) stand for, ie breeding for form over function, selling the pups at an unnecessary profit and not even suggesting that the parents had seen work, but telling us their show lines etc. sorry but in my view this post should be deleted so we should only listen to your view? they will be quite a few lads - lasses who get on here who dont work their mutts but who support and understand why some of us do, so long as when people post or advertise in classifieds they tell the truth and only say things as they are people know where they stand, some folk into terriers will use there dogs for bushing still work but not the same type of work as a genuine digging dog , so where would it all stop with posts being deleated? when did i ever say that you should only listen to my view? i appreciate the fact that some on here don't/cant work their dogs but wouldn't you rather see real working pups being sold at a lesser price? i just realized there was a report button where is the need to sell pups at that price? ill stop now as i can see im offending some people. Guest ceredigion bull cross
Yes I do have other working dogs terriers and lurchers and she helps out with both she is not much of a runner but she is very game. Nice to see that not everyone on this forum is a twat seeing as you have other working dogs i don't see why there should be a problem with you advertising your blue staffs on here if they work or not . at the end of the day you have bred blue staff's to make ££££ and on the same note it takes ££££ to keep a working dog ............ the replies to this are going to be interesting i'm sure

Rocks 77
Well I am no profesional bull dog fella but If the dogs are not being used to fight they are not doing what they are bred for. So how do you select a dog for breeding that is dead game If fighting is illegal. I for one think that those being negative should explain how there dogs are bred from game tested dogs after all that is what the breed is about. I personally do not like the blues as they are to big and lazy mostly looks and color but would never knock a guy for being honest. I do believe he can post what he likes as he was polite and kurt. I also think that if someone sitting on the fence about getting a bully bred dog were to read his post or call I would refer them to a fella like this that is noot rippen people off to bad. He had no ego enhanceing comments and was not selling stud service on a show dog, Just pups off his bitch out of a male he liked atleast he knows who the father is.
mad al 146
Mind you the views from your balcony are quite something ...... I was advertising through my brothers computer but I have now signed up as a member and I have sold all the pups bar 2 so I am not to bothered if anyone does buy one of this site. If I dont agree with how someone has bred a litter I wont go on and bitch about its type and just because the puppies father had some show winning stuff in his pedigree doesnt mean the pups wont work, it just means it looks nice at the same time and if dont like how other people breed then I will keep my mouth shut because someone is advertising something that someone might want, what gives me the right to put him or his pups down, none whatsoever. And for those who think she is not a worker and like to see scars and scabs on a dog this pics for you. As I said its not a competion about war wounds. well done fella , lovely mutts with you there , oh and by the way, welcome aboard, it is a really good site here , just "go with the flo" and look after No1, you and yours As for some who do "work" their dogs, at the Welsh Game Fair, I saw one shall I say "local" (Welsh) hunter with his Terriers and Bull leaving the show, opening the hatch on his "boy racer Honda Type R", terriers jumped in, the Bull was reluctant, so he kicked his "pride and joy" as a helping hand Now if that is what working/hunting is all about , feck me, we need more like nathangun, who obviously gives his dogs the trust and respect they quite rightly demand Al
