Just got some advocate for my dogd. I see it does everything under the some apart from tapeworm.

My question is, next time my dogs are due what precautions do i take against tapeworm. Is it ok to give prazital a week or so after? Or wait longer, or not bother at all?

I know but a lot of people only worm once every 6 months.

6 monthly is ample for tapeworm IMO, as is 6 monthly for lungworm with the advocate.

I'd have to disagree with you there Gareth mate..If you feed raw food/flesh then i'd advise every 3 months at least for tapeworm..not only that..a working dog comes across all manner of nasties whilst out hunting/working..who's to know what they ingest whilst out of sight?....so to answer the original question..yes a week or 2 after a dose of Advocate for tapeworm or maybe even a week or 2 before Advocate is administered
