Tron 173
yeh il have a look around for a good suited one, dont want anythin too bulky, how much are the hogan ones and will they fit a 410? how you mean tinkered with, what you do to it? They don't make Hogans anymore but they do come up on forums from time to time. And yes, they fit fine as it's a standard 1/2" UNF thread. You can alter the baffles inside to make them quieter. With mine, all i hear is the noise of the action of the rifle. With the Superten and SAK it's totally silent from 5 yards away You cant fit a 1/2 unf silencer to a AA 410/400 rifle as the muzzle is only 10m/m unthreaded. first you will have to purchase a adaptor to fit the barrel. AirgunGuy 362
Ah yes...youre right. You need an adapter to fit on the end of the barrel. I completely forgot that theres no thread in the end of the barrel. You can get 1 from ebay for between 5 + 10 quid. Edited October 7, 2012 by AirgunGuy Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
Just get the HW , more or less the best you can buy off the shelf .......... The HW is very good off the shelf but there is better. There's was an in depth test carried out with sound recording equipment and there were a couple that came out quieter than the HW...The Hogan being 1. With a very simple modification the Hogan can be made even quieter. The Hogan, HW, SAK, Twink are all worth a go. Edited October 7, 2012 by AirgunGuy Quote Link to post
