Stretch177 39
Looking to buy some drainage pipe for my new run, after a few knock backs from building sites i have visited, to see if they had any spare. Checking the prices online they seem to vary quite abit. Anybody know where i could get some for a modest price and what size diameter would people recommend, as i was looking at getting some 100mm, but having got 3 hobs, 2 of which look like the might be big hobs, im thinking of getting 150/160mm. Any suggests would be great. Atb Stretch Quote Link to post
tegater 789
I blagged mine of the local farmer who had offcuts lying around, but I was straight up with him and there were no issues. If you dont know any farmers who may have some, try some of the road construction lads laying drainage at the side of roads, if you have any neer you. Again tell them what its for, and they may sort you out. Without measuring it I am guessing mine is about 100-120mm diameter. If I remember I will measure it later. B and Q sell it but its expensive. Stretch177 39
Ferret1988 PM Yeah i've seen it in B&Q think its about 60-70 quid for 25mtr of the 100mm. Thats the last resort for now, but looking the most likely unfortunately. Might have abit of a drive around to see if there is any building/road works going on. Kranky Quote Link to post
