Lab 10,979
Got any enemies??? Check them for injuries. Doubt it would be a cat. Foxes about? Get a pic up of the dead ones....
04fox8 168
Agreed, doubt it was a cat. We just recently lost all our hens too. Ours had small bite marks to their necks, and neighbouring farmer said he had seen a 'family' of 4 foxes heading off from our direction. Stll not confirmed 100% they were responsible. Carcasses had been chewed from tail end tho. When we had chickens many years ago, they would have given any cat a run for his money! What time of day was this, Did it happen in daylight? Ours happened 1 weekend when we'd been away with no kids running about etc. They roosted in a tree in their run at night, which leads me to think it happened during daytime.
