tegater 789
Hi, sorry if this has been done before. I want to strip and relube my lads BAS supersport which is about 20ish years old. I can remember reading on here somewhere that the gun can get damaged if the wrong lube is used inside the piston chamber/ on the spring is used. What is a good lube anyone can recomnend for this and are there any tips for cleaning inside the air chamber/spring housing. Thank you for any help. Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Brake or carb cleaning spray to clean all the crap out of the cylinder then mop it all out with a rag. Then repeat another couple of times. Make sure it's all properly dried out before you re assemble it and shoot otherwise it'll diesel like feck and you could end up doing all manner of damage. A tiny smear of pure silicon grease around the piston seal and an even smaller wipe of molly grease on the piston skirt and you should be fine Quote Link to post
