Advice Needed - Ferret Hutch

ferrets dont chew like rabbits, might have a good scratch, if theres a way out they'l find it. You could always line the shed with thin ply.

Another tip is to put lino down in hutch's, sheds. The pee doesnt soak into the wood then and its piss easy to clean.

If you get a shed and line it with ply i would do the cavity with polestyrene before you screw on the ply as it will make it warm in winter and cool in summer.

Thanks for the tips purcell18 & lifelong cumbrian. Advice from people with experience will hopefully mean I don't make too many mistakes... *fingers crossed*

Little jack - it does seem like a really nice area, close to calshot and lepe for fishing too. Will have to do the rounds with the farmers to see what land I can pick up, is always difficult starting from scratch so not holding out too much hope initially!

this is one that i built the other week as i needed a bigger hutch, with getting a couple of kits on. ive got a ramp going from one floor to the other with a panel that can block it up if neede to seperate the hob from the jills when in season. the hutch is now on legs which brings the bootom to about waist height to make it easier to clean out.0bbf3143.jpg
