this may seem like a stupid question but...

 

when people talk about road walking their dogs fit, do you let the dog "pull" so the back legs are really pushing, as i cant see any other advantage in doing it otherwise, and i always thought it was considered bad manners to have a pulling dog :icon_redface: cheers :thumbs:

you wont get a dog fit by walking it , . a dogs natural gait is a trott for better words road work will tone the muscles and harden the pads thats about all , they need to run for fitness and stamina along with some good food ;)
