22 rf ammo of my mate

Hi guys , just want a bit of advice, my Mate has recently sold his .22 but stil has 300 rounds sat in his cabinet. Now I have recently purchased a 22 , can I leagly buy the rounds off him??? thanks and please help

yes you can just get him to write it in your certificate just as an rfd would
