If you we're to get a staffordshire bull terrier (barrel type) could that dog be made racy fit with the right exercise, food ect I ask because I like the athletic staff but they are hard to come by so could s large staff be fittened up ?

J.Dog ive got a kc reg staff and the dam was a wee barrell. The dad was slightly athletic but that was due to good diet and exercise. My dog is on a great diet and gets lots of exercise he can keep up with my lurchers all day on big mountain walks without ever lagging behind. No reason if you walk it and feed it right it cant be healthy and athletic. It doesnt have to be a big leggy thing either. My dog is only 16tts

You would be better off getting a gamebred APBT from the states. Staffys will not amount to same drive or ability. I am sorry to say it is the truth of it. Most people don't even realize true gamebred dogs to even be APBT, just look a terrier cross a lot of them especially if you go female better chance of hiding the breed of dog.
