hi lads my little pup is a bit nervous on the lead im taking it handy with him when he is out sometimes ok sometimes hes not.he pulls his head to the ground and walks with his back arched and pulls to the side also any pointeers on this cheers

Has the pup been used to going out all the time since it was young? You say on another post that it is 9 months old: have you only just got the pup? Tell us a bit more about it.

take the pups mind of the lead,,,,,,,,,treats etc,,,,,

hi mate yes i have him since he was a pup he is a bit odd 1 min hes grand next hes not had em out to day he was grand its like he is after geting a slap one ting ive never done to him im baffled ive had him out with out the lead loadsa times so i tink cause of the lack of using it might be the prob

You need to get the pup to see the lead as a good thing: a means of going somewhere interesting. I always put pups on the lead several times during a walk so they don't think it is the end of their fun.
