Hi, I've just been asked to do some ratting by a customer who's house I'm decorating. Its in a barn with obvious signs either rats are there or have been there! Anyway I thought I would give it ago...my mates smoker doesn't work so I thought about using my old petrol strimmer engine as a smoker which brings me to my question as to what's the best way to go about converting it as quick and effectivly As possible which will cost as less as possible! Any ideas people would be a grwat help thanks

The smoker has been temporarily bodged! I used 22mm copper pipe stuck to the male part of the exhaust using arrodite glue and then gaffer taped an old plastic water pipe to the copper.....had it running for 10mins earlier and suprisingly worked quite well. But will see how it plans out on the job tonight! Fingers crossed lol!

quite well considering it was a massive bodge job! The only thing is the only thing we had available to attach to the pipe and put in the holes was a bit of pastic flexy stuff from a henry hoover lol! And we had to keep re taping it on as it kept melting! I've sorted someone to weld it prperly and got a bit of radiator hose from a car for next time now... Anyway end result there were no rats but have gained more permision for ratting and lamping through my efforts so was all good in the end!
