night out with the lamp

Hi guys went out lamping last night to see if i could get a bit of grub for the ferrets

Got to the permission at about 10.45 so walked into the first field shined around nothing in site as there is always rabbits running about

Walked half way up the field shined again nothing in front of us except a charlie off in the distance then shined behind us and there was a bloody rabbit stuck to the bottom of the grass i dont think he noticed us because he was eating so i slipped the dog then the rabbit ran up towards the ditch turned and the dog missed him on the turn and then the rabbit ran out towards the field again and the dog caught him on the turn again bunny no.1 in the bag

So continued to walk into the next field there was another bunny but he was probally only the size of my fist so left him alone

But there was a fully grown rabbit on the other side of the field.So we creaped up towards him and slipped the dog again and both rabbit and dog ran full belt towards me and under my legs i am so lucky my dog is small

so the rabbit then turned about 3 times and the dog scooped him up rabbit no.2

 

So i called it a night as i only needed a couple of rabbits for the ferrets wont be going out again until winter
