Both are brilliant rifles Gravel bud, it has to be said.

 

If I'm honest i wouldn't say one is any better than the other.

 

I've shot them both and currently own a HW97KT getting pleasing results with it. Granted its highly tuned by a master tuner, but Davy's 97 isn't and he is as accurate with his as any man is with a rifle. I've witnessed it many times over this past 4 weeks. Working in conjunction with a LRF and a calibrated scope ret and best pellet for his barrel he is capable of doing what many people probably wished they could do with a PCP . This is no tall story either.

 

I dont think i could improve the results with a TX200 or better the results you could get from a TX with a HW.

 

It depends on how it feels to you in the shoulder.

 

To me nothing beats a Air Arms Pro Sport straight out the box, they fit me like a snug glove and this helps get the most from the rifle, but to others it may be another rifle .

 

Which ever one fits you the best will be the answer for you pal.

 

If you can wait till around Feb next year for a new springer i would wait mate if i was you and try something new to fit you . I'm not going to say more on this at the mo as I've been asked to keep what Ive been told to the 4 that know and no more.

 

All I can say is that a new springer is set to come out around that time that is supposed to be the best one currently anywhere .

Im planning on a hw100kt .22 in a couple of months after my hol to go with my .177 hw97kt

 

but i might keep my eye out for this new springer next year if its going to be that damn good! Lol

 

im sure you will be doing a full accuracy test/review on it si when you get the 'go ahead' lol
