TommyTheTank 30 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 Got a new terrier and her nails are really long but i cant cut them any shorter because the wick( I think thats whats its called?) is up so far because they were obviously never clipped. If i tried to cut it she'd squeal and it would probably start bleeding so what can i do? She's about 15 months old. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Millet 4,497 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 Get her walked regular on the path that should do the trick..but if you still have to cut them do it once a fortnight or every 3wk's and the quick should slowly recede back to where it should be..
