RossM 8,149 Posted July 13, 2012 Report Share Posted July 13, 2012 I'm all for the future of our sport but if some of the young lads out there are that, then we are well and truly f****d, reading back some of the shit beggars belief and hearing of encounters with "the young team" and some things you hear at shows and they ain't bothered who's within earshot.... Well it's neither wonder we are where we are. it was just this morning I read something in the lurcher section that should I say should've been flagged up straight away. So it got me thinking, is there not a system we could put in place when joining up that the new applicant has to put in what they wish to achieve from joining the site their goals and requirements. and if deemed necessary allocate that new member an online mentor (mod) who can vet there posts/threads before they go live, and also at least know the basic laws under the hunting act,(i know that its there in black and white but you wouldnt think) tick a terms and agreements regarding what can be posted and what can't. As for them that know the law And just go about there business, without the urge to post about it on here, good luck to them. reddawn 2,173 Posted July 13, 2012 Report Share Posted July 13, 2012 iv met a few decent youngsters in past few years, but trut be told i wont be helping anymore, it just seems that for every decent youngster comin into the sport there is a handfull a wanks, an i aint spending my spare time trying to sort throo the wanks from the good uns, shame really as i have helped a few an they will be forever gratefull id bet on it, but outnumbering them are the folks that have been given advice/day or night out/free gear an iv even spoke up a few times to get youngsters pups or kitts, the last 1 that fooked me off was the last nail in coffin... if you are genuine an just starting out in this game, i wish you all the very best, but im afraid thats all youll get off me Quote Link to post Share on other sites
