Guest foxyforce1
well each to their own as we all say what works for one man wont be another mans 1st choice so they can only give their personal advice, but as mole trapper sais like them or loathe them they are making a succesfull living at it, which most of us pest controllers can only dream about. martin 332
well for a start if givin advice on purse nets to anyone it would be kinda daft not to go through length depth material etc coz eh...they do kinda matter when it comes to what makes a good purse net and a bad one, so a wouldnt really call it pish, and havin used ed cooks nets in alot of my own work they are a damn sight better than most nets ive ever bought of so called great net makers, and ive bought off a few trust me, so a know it might sound like hes blowin his own trumpet and there is some things ed says in his question and answer sections a dont agree with if i made what i thought were better nets n a young lad asked me for advice am no gonna send him elsewhere for what i thought were inferior nets just so folk didnt thing i was at it,each to there own though. Sounds like someone's got a crush on someone TOO TRUE NETRIGGER IVE CAUGHT CONEY IN NETS MADE OF ALLSORTS ....... WITH THE NETTING GAME LIKE MANY OTHERS ....... THE OLD ADAGE .... " ONE MANS MEATS ANOTHER MANS POISON " RINGS TRUE PERSONALLY AFTER WATCHING ED COOK AND MICK MANSBRIDGE IN ACTION ON THERE DVD .......... PROFESSIONAL RABBIT CONTROL WOULD HAVE BEEN THE LAST THING I WOULD HAVE NAMED IT ALL THE BEST DUCKWING I've watched it,and,I'm afraid I'm with you. well each to their own as we all say what works for one man wont be another mans 1st choice so they can only give their personal advice, but as mole trapper sais like them or loathe them they are making a succesfull living at it, which most of us pest controllers can only dream about. He most probably makes his money selling nets for £3.50 a pop,and selling his DVD's .All I will say is Fair play to him.
Guest foxyforce1
sounds like some folk have a touch of the green eye monster...enough said
mole catcher 1
OK here we go, time for my neck to be placed on the block....... Professional rabbit control? yep they caught plenty of rabbits on the vids but lets look past that. If i were a potential customer of theirs im sorry but they wouldnt get threw the front gates if i were to judge them on looks alone, so on there part maybe there not being so professional. Of course we all know the old saying of "clothes maketh the man" isnt true these days but sadly in bussines it accounts for a lot. Taking nothing away from mick mansbridge as he is a well regarded net maker and user but, i allways was taught that smoking whilst ferreting is a big no-no another point of professionalism to debate. Im sure the list goes on but taking nothing away from the pair, there were plenty of rabbits caught so well done to them. But to be a professinal pest controler takes a hell of a lot more than just being able to catch the pests your after. sorry if my words sound like im a bitter man who is suffering from envy or the green eyed monster, but im not. Im just a man who has made a living for years as a professinal pest controler catching many hundreds of rabbits and other beasties, without the aid of an ex army greatcoat
higgins 75
Saw Mick Mansbridge in the 's at a cla Gamefair show,he WAS the business then ,showing the longnetting side of things,he was good at marketing what he had to offer laying on demonstrations of running the nets out,i've never forgotten it ,even though i am not at this moment using them, but if i EVER need to use them i always rember that day so i can use them if need be,i think i even bought a long net back then which we used in scotland and caught many rabbits,he was proffesional back then, just my tuppence worth, all the best, Higgins. Guest foxyforce1
well with the looks of it their customers obviously care more about them being able to do the job than what they wear when doing it, lets be right hear guys their rabbit catchers their gonna go out in whatever they feel comfortable in, and for god sake u dont see builders getn slated for being un- professional when their graftin away on a building site when they look like theve no had a change of clothes in a week n been dragged through a cment mixer backwards, and thats because their doin their job.... This debates went far enough i think, startin to get ridiculous now
