bob.243 9,994 Posted July 8, 2012 Report Share Posted July 8, 2012 Hello Cleanspade, I've a Nikon D80 and have a 28-300 lens on it all the time, nice & compact, I find it works well across all ranges, nothing worse if you want to take a photo and i'ts just too far away. tegater 789 Posted July 9, 2012 Report Share Posted July 9, 2012 I have a good 18-200mm Nikon with VR and it is excellent, however there are plenty of times I would like that little bit extra for wildlife, and the something to 300 would probably be better, as recommended by others.
