hi its my first time hatching chicks i had 7 by day 18 5 of them hatched perfect the other 2 hatched, but they had blood on the egg after hatching and seemed to still be attached to the egg they also have little clumps of white stuff , im not sure if i should step in or let nature take its course any advice

It was just going into the 20th day.I worded the original post wrong i had 9 eggs but 2 died before lockdown on day 18,Ive done a bit of research and it seems to be pointing that the temp was a little high.

But im after learning something out of it so at least theres some benefit

If your eggs are hatching early this could be down to your incubator running higher temp then 37.5 same goes with chicks hatching late with it running to low so its always worth putting a wet bulb thermometer in before each setting and double checking mate.
