Not knuckling over it's rickets

When my pup was 6 weeks I took him to the vet but not my usual vet who said he was knuckling over but I wanted a second opinion and went to my usual vet who is great he said my pup has rickets , even though I've been feeding him right , the vet said if the pup was fed just raw meat when weaned it could have caused this he gave me some collo cal d liquid calcium to give him and I'm going back to the vet in 9 - 10 days

 

Has anyone had a pup that has rickets and came good , I'm worried about my pup just hope he will be ok , he's only 10 weeks .

yes mate my vet had gav me calcium tabs for him 1 every morning for a wk

after that i jus gav him bone builder as thats what i give the bordeaux

my lurcher pup is 2 yr old now and its never stopped him he 26 tts so never stunted his growth

Don't know if it was rickets , but before I got my Alfie dog he had a calcium defiancy the previous owner treated him and you'd never know (I didn't till I read it on here)
