zini 1,939
I used one 2 weeks ago and though that it was wonderful. I would buy one after using Wedges. The trigger, balance and looks are staggering, but I have to say and this is no tall tail its no more accurate than my regged Ultra is as people at the meet witnessed. The only thing against these rifles are the price. For £750 a HW100 will do the exact same thing. Si. Quote Link to post

Mawders 595
Save some cash and get a HW100 mate abd the money saved you could get some uber glass to go on top of the new rifle. ATB Mawders Quote Link to post

woodchip 2
Hi never had a pellet fall out and why zero in at 50 ? thank you question answerd. 50m is a distance i like and have always used as a zero Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
Most guns these days shoot out to 50m well. Do you shoot a lot further than this at quarry Quote Link to post
woodchip 2
i have done if i know i cant get any closer Quote Link to post
woodchip 2
ill only do it if i know the gun confidently im not in to just hitting things and let them suffer . not the way i was tought to hunt. Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Seems a bit excessive to me zeroing at 50 m with a sub 12. Most people and the rifle they choose as a matter of fact will not group 1 hole at 50 metres and the fall of shot (FOS) will be between 1/2 inch to 3 inch shooter depending so I'm not sure how you can establish a correct zero from all them pellets. I shot a 3 shot group from a 25 metres zero the other day at 60 metres in a slight breeze and the best I got was 1 inch from the edge of one hole to the centre of the other hole. I wouldnt have said that would of been good as a zero though. A .177 pellet from 11.4 FP drops 25 cm at 60 metres so your hold under at closer ranges is excessive. robwelsh 354
I didn't meen do you take pot shots etc lol I ment ,really speaking if you zero at 50 you probably take a lot further shots than 50 ,if you only shoot to 60m there really isn't any point for a 50m zero. Quote Link to post
