charlie nelly1 142
after purchasing a new scope from venomviper (of THL) i set about putting it on the s400, after many many shots i finnaly managed to zero it, for some reason zeroeing has never been an easy challange for me, anyway once i was happy i went for a 5 minuite walk down the drive and christened the new scope with a young jackdaw and a rabbit, both head shots shot from standing, andway here is a few pictures, thanks for reading! as you can see i have circled where i finished zeroing, aiming for the drawing pin, think i will try fine tune it later, by the way all the shots in the target picture have not all been aimed at the same spot! thanks again, charlie Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Nice Charlie, Try 3 clicks left and 2 clicks up and you will be somewhere near zero pal if your zeroing at around 30 yards. Si. 1 Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Zeroing is a fine art, I always end up fine tuning and never completely happy always wondering if I should have given it one more click lol Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
I zerod mine in today at 35yards, I can shoot from ten 10yards out to about 40-yards 4with out any hold under hold over..at 50 yards I was hitting the smallest spinner with 2mildots holdover consistently ..with about half mildot for wind well happy to say the least Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Yes true Rob, but if you want to shoot trajectory true you will have hold under from 20 to 30 yards and hold over from barrel to 13 yards and 35 to 40 yards unless you are happy with your standard impact. For HFT shooting a 15mm target you would probabley miss shooting like that buddy. Si. Quote Link to post
