ITS a cracker

Recommended Posts

My only beef with springers is they are on the heavy side for the more decent ones such as the tx, prosport, 97 so on. If I went back I would try and get me a hw95k which are a bit lighter and I think more point able. Coupled with a light weight smallish scope. If I had a springer to go with my pcp I reckon the springer would be used alot more often!

Sometimes I think though that the weight is a help. I have a BSA supersport that hardly ever goes out and doesnt group that well for me, but when I borrow my dads HW35 which is about 30 years old and never had much done to it, it is as accurate as anything. The extra weight just makes it feel better for me.

I agree i find the weight helps when aiming...i also find it more controlable

Personally I hate a light gun, a hw80's the lightest I can get on well with, and I should be the president of club noodle arm !

Your boys obviously a young man of taste, wit, style, sophistication and charm and is so right about pcp's, fair play to him!

Nice 1, cheers, wurz

I wish pcp never came out, springs should be all we need! I'm so toying with the idea of selling up and going back to spring!

You don't have the stones to sell the 'supertun'! Lol the .177 tx was more than a match today admit it. Mwahaha

Haha, oh Michael, i'll have to remind you of what happened today. For anyone interested those nibbles on the target are from Mike and his blunderbus. The orange target is as big as your thumb nail to give people a perspective of size. The whole in the middle was my one shot one kill haymaker, standing unsupported lased 30 yard shot.

The Superten really is a supergun but like I said I could have taken that shot one handed, just no real skill involved with PCP. your TX did perform very well for a womans caliber!

I grant you it was an awesome shot. Though let's gain some more perspective.

I, standing with the weightier and recoiling (harshier in .177) mighty tx200, hit mere millimeters from.your shot. You with the lighter peice hurling larger diameter rounds without recoil...

The many other victories tot up to over shadow the one...

Ha ha you talk a good game, what you don't mention is the fact when I shot there was 15mph winds right to left causing me to make full use of the mill dots and aim off for windage. The coke can sniper strikes again!
