jimmys shop 182
Went to Gran Canaria end of may ,took grandson with myself and wife ,we done the usual activities Aquapark ,Dolphin show ,i had booked to go Blue Marlin fishing that week ,well worth the money ,it was only 150 euro for the three of us on a boat called the Cavalier ,run by Blue Marlin 3 . We headed down to the harbour about 9am and were give a good warm welcoming and boarded ,there was five dutch guys who fished every year here along with these guys who own the boat ,i thought the grandson wouldve been a little bit strange at boarding a boat for the first time ,5 yrs old no sweat ,and listened to every word what was being said to all onboard about your rods reels and positioning and what way you have to reel in once a strike is made . Started out and after ten minutes all rods were tackled up and appointed to each indivudal ,low and behold ten minutes later the wifes rod went ,first tuna ,ten minutes again the grandsons went another small tuna about 4or 5lb in weight ,not another bite for about three hours then a reel screaming ,have to say at this point it was like a military operation with all lines reeled in within a minute or two ,the fish had took 800metres of line within 2 minutes ,Peter one of the dutch guys was put into the chair and the fight began ,45 minutes later he landed a 220kg blue marlin ,. just like to say lads its well worth the day out if your over there ,and its easy bookable on the web . sorry just cant seem to upload these pics at moment ,mustve lost my touch .
