Gafer how do you stop the dog from jumping out of that mill of your's..the proper Greyhound one i have seen are fully enclosed with a mesh front so the dog can see out and a trap door on the back in case the dog fall's over so it get shot out the back..that kind of mill does not need a dog to be dangerously on the lead..

a bloke once put his dads over weight cocker on one, a normal running one with the lead tied to the front and left it running, the dog decided to stop running and it wore its pads off

i all ways stand with the dogs never leave them at all that would be just stuppid to leave them alone all they wont to do i try and go out the front bit but one of my dh x's has been spat out the back but there is a kill switch on it if the dog gets in trouble just pull it out and it all stops . i only have them plodding along for 10 mins thats just under 2 miles i won't go over board with it eather
