No mate, just got a few hundred ex layers at the moment, poults come in July. Oh, and some ducks here at the moment as well.

 

b*****d pheasants have started eating each other! Lost seven since yesterday!

Horrible feckers. I've not encountered it before. Walked in on six dead adult birds with the arse and guts etc gone and one still walking about but with big holes in him, showing his guts . . . . and spent a good while trying to find the hole in the pen (there is a roof). . . . and then realised / was informed it was canabalism.

Weird eh! Guess when you think about it. Cannabilisim is prob pretty common in the animal world . Rabbits do it. Rats. Just never considered pheasants. Can't imagine a robin doing it lol

Robins fight to the death though occassionaly!
