Best advice is enjoy the dog , take your time , learn as much as you can off of decent lads and don't get involved with the wrong kind of crowd you'll learn nothing but crap of them lol .

 

If you PM Mr pit he'll sort you out regarding DVDs

my best tip for ya bud if you want to have a good working relationship with the pup when grown, is dont discipline for normal canine behavior as a pup, jumping up chewing biting dont come into conflict with it until it is old enough to understand what your saying,

 

i dont believe that most of the running dogs in shelters are crap hunting dogs, i just think most have had a relationship breakdown in the pups development, i dont take much for a pup to make the link between coming into your space and jumping up and maybe biting and been corrected and having fear of coming into the same space when older, its all learned behavior, My advice would be to manage the pup and work with it's canine ways not against it,
