chartpolski 28,840
I put a post up a while back with the pedigrees of my Deer/Grey, and back in the 1800's there was "bull blooded Greyhound" and "rough Scottish type Greyhound" on her Greyhound dam's side. On her Deerhound sires side. in the 1950's Greyhound was added to the Ardkinglass Deerhounds. Cheers. Quote Link to post

Never seen a pure grey with rough coat Will try paste link up many years ago (1800s) greys, deers, rough coated greys and sighthoundy lurchers were all just known as varieties of greyhound. dogs recorded in the greyhound studbook were gradually bred to be smooth coated but genetically all very similar.
