please, any advice s310 trigger mech,

hello lads and lasses i was wondering if any body could give me a bit info on the trigger on my air arms s310 ive owned a few air arms rifles and they all have the similar trigger but the 1 on my s310 seems to have no first stage, i seem to squeeze forever and then it goes off when normally i would use up the first stage then i could feel and predict the shot and now i cant, ive tried adjusting it myself and got it a little better but not much, any advice would be great cheers and atb rabbitcatcher
