lapin2008 1,587
well ive checked today to see how many kits my jill had, she gave birth last thursday, shocked by her only having one, is this the smallest litter ever, its her first litter Is it the first time you have checked them? Maybe she just ate them, happens sometimes (when the jill doesnt have enough raw meat to eat while feeding - I believe) Quote Link to post
blond 8
yes first time, she gets raw meat everyday, whats usually the size of the kits when born, this is the first time ive bred my ferrets, the kit is just a bit bigger than a mouse Quote Link to post

I would have thought a litter of one is pretty rare though. Have a look on here am sure you will find pics of kits to compare to although if its the only one I cant imagine it will be struggling for milk etc Quote Link to post
theferreter 311
it isnt very likely shes just had the one my guess would be shes eat the rest Quote Link to post
