Any dog can be a potential threat. i would never ever leave dogs and kids together. bull breeds have the jaw power which cant be ignored we have kids round my way walking staffys and other terriers. ridiculous as how can a kid keep a dog under control. all it takes is a split second. i think there should be an age resriction of 18 or older for been in control in public. hope this makes sense.

there are so many staffie and staffie x owned by f****n idiots, they are the most common dogs in the pounds everyone has seen the junkie types or the young lad wi an anchor chain round the dogs neck, its a shame for any dog

From my experience of the staffy dog its not the full staffy that causes the problem its the staffy x that is much bigger and usually very fat that cause the problem, The owners are townies that open the back door kick the dog out and let it back in 5 mins later. In our area we have had a serious problem with this type of dog. I have been attacked twice and several other people out with there dogs have been attacked. Its not the dogs but the dozy owners who says my dog is ok it just wants to say hello, doesnt have a lead and doesnt have a clue. It speaks for itself when some of us can keep pit bull types, staffy types and not have a days problem and others well ...................................
