was plannin on giving them free run so been ant bought some strong stuff ,its made to the inclines of the path etc so no good for anywhere else but will use the wire to fence under the hedges to keep dog in

comments on the roof, was gonna just put a mesh roof on but the hutch would last longer with a felt roof although there will be quite a bit of weight the roof is going to be 7 foot wide.the last two foot is going to be built up another 4 foot or so between the windows

could do halfy half.. as in half felt half mesh, its what i did on my run, gives shade when its hot and protection from rain when ... its raining obviously

Cheap way of doing the roof is get a couple of old doors from the skip. Attach to the back batten with the hinges from the doors so it lifts up at the front and then felt over the top.

not a bad thought think ive got some old wardrobe doors in loft come to think of it bought some reasonable hinges at wilko`s for a pund. felt aint cheap like

I have a couple of roll end bits left over at mine that should be more than enough to do the trick, will swap you for the chicken wire if you dont have a use for it.

 

Am gonna to be building a chicken coup soon and will need some for that
