Kind of, they usually come from the side of the field's dyke's ect. Jus probe between the hill's till you find the tunnel's. It can be frustrating at time's but the reward's are worth it.

 

Theyl try dig around and under the trap's but theres a trick or two to make this more difficult for them to do so.

If you really want to get a mole to go through your trap, just rub a dead mole from a different area on the trap.

Moles are really territorial and will scrap to the death if there is another mole in the tunnel, unless its female and ready for a quickie, but they will investigate, they don't like sharing food, tunnels or females!

a lad i know will locate a new mole hill andstand over it for a while then stamp his foot into the soil and bingo !he kills a few and always amazes me with some of his little tricks and hes only a young lad

Hi Tony..not so sure about that, you can get several mole's from the same tunnel's.
