first cross deerhound whippet

has anyone out there had any experience with this cross personally never seen one in all the years ive had dogs a keeper freind of mine has just had a litter of ten out of his pedigree deerhound bitch which he does work and his coursing pedigree whippet who he also works , i would imagine these would make a fair tool in the right hands . i have seen one on lynperry whippets site but beleive that is deerhound greyhound cross with a whippet it looks a very smart animal all the same .. have any members ever owned or seen a genuine first cross . or got any photos of any cheers .

i had a bitch off that mate the sire was totty pauls dog and that bitch was his wifes,

she was a very slow starter and never really got the killer instint in her ,she mouthed rabbits when she coursed them when bored and released

them only to course them again

i then put her on rats and what a demon ,i then thought id cracked it 5 rabbits in 10 mins

went out nightafter and back to square 1 gave her to my dad as a pet now she s spoilt

ten yr old this oct still looks well cos she never got the work her fault like

Had one about 14 years ago.A fella who had it was running it at hares but something happen to its left leg and he give it to me.The leg came good but she got though out a wee bit when the stuff she was run turn left but apart from that a great bitch.Took fox,hare,rabbit had to dig her out few times with the terriers great wee bitch

a lad i knows got one, its 7 month old and he was just walking it when it broke its leg running i believe, and now hes pet homing it, so i havent really seen a half decent one, any pictures?
