locator problems AFTER market collars

mk1 box that need calibrating or does not seem to be working on deep digs, anyone had this problem, ive heard there is a guy who works on them

 

Also my mate got a after market collar, when we used it i found it gave a false position of up to a foot one side of it, i was going to buy a terrier collar but i am in two minds to get a second hand deben one or try one of the others you see at the shows any one had good after market one and were did they get it from as they seem to be a couple of people making them
