zini 1,939
Hi mate, What makes you think that FAP pellets could be too light? They are a very good pellet for hunting with a nice soft lead property that deforms seemingly better that other popular pellet brands I'm used to using. Ive seen the damage they do on rats and rabbits and I can tell you they stop em pretty flat on their feet dead with no running off a bit and they rolling over. 14 grains is a good weight too as you get a good wack with a slightly flatter parabolic trajectory than a 16 or 21 grain pellet at the same power. Simon Howarth (Tench) advises on using them and even gave me a bag of around 100 to try. Unfortunately for me my r10 didn't like them and so I used RWS Super Field which is another good pellet. If they work well in you Brocock pal and they are grouping tightly at 27 yards (25 metres) then i would stick with them. If they dont then try another good pellet brand. RWS Super Field Daystate LI's Air Arms Field Webley Accupel FX 16 grain RWS Super Dome H & N Field Trophy All the above are good pellets to try. ATB Si. Quote Link to post
