open season 21 Posted April 13, 2012 Report Share Posted April 13, 2012 Hi guys i put a post on last week about blueing kits the question i never asked and i should off do you have to sand the old blueing of all the metal work or simply apply the new blue to the old If i decided to blue my own gun insted of sending it off i was going to use wet and dry to rub the metal work down if i needed too that is. cheers guys openseason Quote Link to post

Looks good too, obviously very fine sand paper is used! Unless you like the brushed finish :-) Chris Quote Link to post

dogsbollocks58 36 Posted April 13, 2012 Report Share Posted April 13, 2012 hi mate i my self don,t use sand paper on the metal blueing you can get the blueing remover off ebay , you will scratch the metal work on the gun you can bye the kit off ebay have a look mate thats what i use and the name,s PERMA BLUE AND THE TRU-OIL GUN STOCK FINISH KIT before you use sand paper on the metal work you can bye the six for around £23.00 pounds good luck with the finish matey Quote Link to post
