Lewis Ste 245
well after asking about 10 farms in my local area only one small holding had granded me any sort of permission and it was for ferreting so today i set off to a farm which last time i knocked no one was in. so today i went back and spoke to a man in his 30s and he gave me a name and number to call. after about 2hours of rain i was finally able to jump on my scooter and head other to my girlfriends where my rifle was (girlfriends family own 100acre farm) i spoke to her dad (a well known farmer in the area) about the man he he said he was a nice enough guy and would of thought he would grand me permission to shoot if i told him who i was and what connections i had. one of my tricks to gaining permission is to mention who i was and who my girlfriends dad is. so at 6 o'clock i rang the number to ask to within a 2minute chat he granded me it without even mentioning my girlfriends dad was, by this i thought to my self if he giving it away this easily there most be a few on the land. im planning on going to meet the farmer to sign the permission slip tomorrow and possibly have a walk around and scope out the land. the reason i had been so desperate to gain new permission is because mixi has wiped out my existing permission so im forced to keep the number of ferral and wood pigeon as well as possible. i was going to write a few reports but with the low numbers each trip there was no point so heres a few pictures of recent bags with my new logun s16. Lewis Ste 245
Haha I love haves her as a girlfriend I know if its a nice day I can walk out into the cupboard grab ether a shotgun or air rifle and go shooting without anyone to worry about. And silent shot I don't know why more people haven't got and use them? I left it for 4days over the weekend while I was on a rugby tour to amsterdam and the bottle didn't budge at all I can get 5p groups at 46yards the furthest range iv test it at and am comfortable taking shot at this range because of the gun. Iv already in the last 2weeks a 38yard hot shot on a baby rabbit and a 43yards shot on that weood pigeon in the picture. So for the 100pound I paid I love it and think I could match most guns £500+ with it and theshot count is great 200 shot per charge and ther weight isn't even a problem if you have got a decent set of arms I can't speak highly enough of it its great. Touch wood nothing goes wrong with it now Quote Link to post
