Joke Backfires (Hillsborough)

Maybe liverpool football club think that at least 96 family's don't want to go to a football match, never mind a semi final, on the 15 april, alot of people do other thing's on 15th, some church,cemetary,even take your kid's out, because you can. The 15th mean's different thing's for different people, but liverpool must move on, you've got too, gnasher, you make a bit of sense, except for the one what was'nt your view.{ i know that's a contradiction}

 

I know what you mean......to be honest it was only being on the recieving end of Italian hatred that really brought home for me the bitterness over the Heysel thing.....About 6 or 7 years ago id followed my West Ham to Italy for a Uefa cup game in Palermo,which is the complete opposite end of Italy to Juventus......yet there were literally thousands of Juventus fans there to " welcome " us !!.......it was a pretty scarey time as we didnt realise what their problem was until after hours of hostility and a bunch of arrests the Italian plod escorted us to a big sports hall for our own safety.....where they then told us a big mob of Jeventus fans had turned up wanting some payback for Heysel......obviously our hooligan reputation from years ago didnt help...but when they was chanting and screaming we didnt have a clue what they were saying......" English animals "....exactly the same as they chanted at Liverpool when they played them......the Italian plod themself told us that day they felt Hillsborough was what Liverpool deserved,i never forgot this one copper describing in broken English how the wall crumbling at Heysel actually saved a lot of lives from more being crushed,and how glad he was the wall/fence at Hillsborough didnt crumble !!....pretty sick shit really but it certainly opened my eyes to the whole thing.

Gnasher must of been a bit dodgy over there that night, it's the only time your glad to see plod, then you can start giving it back, when you know thing's are ok.

 

No nothing like that im way too old for all that silly shit.......certainly wasnt pleasant seeing that sort of venom in folk....particularly when you cant work out what you,ve done wrong
