She's 10 months old and definately got greyhound in her but not sure what else, she was owned by a lad who when she was hit by a car at 4 months just wrapped her in a blanket with a note of what had happened, and left her in a box outside this dog rescue place in Thirsk. Anyway she was nursed back to health with no major injuries and rehomed with my mate and his family about a month ago so i thought i'd pop down. She's fast and mad as a hatter so I brought up the idea of trying her on rabbits see how she does, slipped her at a nearby field and she brought the rabbit back to hand still alive. We're both absolutely chuffed. My mates never hunted before but now he's hooked, i showed him how to sort the rabbit for consumption and we had rabbit sandwiches for lunch. Only her first rabbit i know but hopefully plenty more to come!! It's great she's got a real settled family now with plenty of time and love to give, and another hunter has joined the ranks. 4 Quote Link to post
