decoys

hi all just woundering what type of decoy you all think is best for pidgeons

ie: half bodied full bodied fly perched or on ground ?

have had lots of luck with full bodied on the floor

but just thought i would ask ?

i use half shell untill i get some dead birds then replace them

Half body shells at first as they give a bit of movement, then dead birds added, dead birds also on the rotor and bouncers, although I think I might be investing in a pair of the new flapping rotor decoys from Deako, :thumbs-up:

The do look the bollocks don't they

 

I use shell decoys purely because they are easier / more compact to carry but movement in the pattern is so important... anything your can get your hands on (bouncers, flappers, magnets etc) or improvise is worth it
