Are any of you lot into mountain bikes. I've been looking at a couple but there is that many it's mind blowing! I've got around £500 and I'm looking at the hybrids for the type of riding I'll be doing. If anybody has any tips of whats hot and what's not thats much appreciated.

da bomb are good rocky strong as f**k

Mainly road and track ways, Rutland water sort of stuff really. I've found a website that sells 30% of list price. I like the look of giants and cannondales. I'd prefer to have a go on a couple really but with the net that's obviously not possible.

i havent seen a hitman for a few years, can get soe good bikes for £500 ish, but you can custom uild one but costs you twice as much and then abit more to be honest, taaken me about a year to finish the bike i ride now, cost about £400 more than i wanted, pain in the arse to maintain aswell, just keep it washed when you ride and keep a clean chain, best advice

I think the ones I said which had 30% of ate last years models, which is fine by me. I've got my eye on a couple on eBay, so long as the price is right. I notice that Marin hybrids don't have front suspension so there probally more road orientated. The one I've got my eye on is a giant roam xc. I was looking at a claud butler but got told for the same money, giants and gt are better quality?

its just the speck on the bike that matters most to me best brake best mech on the back chain device ext so if ya go for giant they will probably have all this but its down to what you like at the end of the day
