moonlighter 1,165
Are any of you lot into mountain bikes. I've been looking at a couple but there is that many it's mind blowing! I've got around £500 and I'm looking at the hybrids for the type of riding I'll be doing. If anybody has any tips of whats hot and what's not thats much appreciated. bigbarnett 33
what sort of riding mate? £500 will not get you anything majoraly special but will still get you an all right bike, so what type of stuff will you be riding?
moonlighter 1,165
Mainly road and track ways, Rutland water sort of stuff really. I've found a website that sells 30% of list price. I like the look of giants and cannondales. I'd prefer to have a go on a couple really but with the net that's obviously not possible.

moonlighter 1,165
I think the ones I said which had 30% of ate last years models, which is fine by me. I've got my eye on a couple on eBay, so long as the price is right. I notice that Marin hybrids don't have front suspension so there probally more road orientated. The one I've got my eye on is a giant roam xc. I was looking at a claud butler but got told for the same money, giants and gt are better quality?
