Tron 173
Hiya Ryan, I see you are advertising your work for Firearms and Shotguns too. You are, I hope a RFD licence holder because as you know If you are not, yourselves, and any licenced gun holder who forewards such a weapon is breaking the law big time. I ask because I am thinking about having a .22 rimfire coated and your posting advice dosent make it plain Cheers, Tron. Edited May 11, 2012 by Tron Quote Link to post

Only if they send what can be classed as a firearm, sending the stock / furniture / scopes is no problem ATB Adam Quote Link to post
Tron 173
Yes I am aware of that but their advert dosent make that clear rather I, or someone else clarifies the advert before someone makes a mistake and gets himself, or others to lose their ticket. ATB. Quote Link to post
Tron 173
Strange Ryan hasent responded even though he has been on the forum since my original inquiry?? I was only trying to be helpfull I would have thought a responsible company would be quick to dispel any fears if they had a rfd or not?untill then I will hangfire on sending any of my stuff to be coated. These lads wont be coating anything that would warrant them needing an FAC or SGC as they are clued up on the laws that would warrant them to have such items in their possesion and has they are a couple of very good decent lads who are trying to make a go of things in difficult times would not take the risk in doing so. 1 Quote Link to post
HydroPrecision 2
Hi Tron, Thanks for your message. The reason we have not responded is was wanted to clarify 100% on some facts before we replied as we would not like to give out incorrect advice to our potential customers we are not like that. The reason we had if offered on our site was to gauge what interest there would be doing the rimfires or shotguns/Firearms etc to warrant getting the RFD and having to meet there requirements with the cabinets and everything else. Tobe honest with you, you are the first person to enquire about having such items done as a shotgun. Most of our clients are air rifles. So unfortunetley we will not be able to do the shotgun for you at this present time unless demand for such items calls for us to do so. Thanks for your posts Adam & poacher aswell thanks for your feedback. And Tron sorry for any delay in replying just wanted to be certain before i responded. Thanks All Ryan HydroPrecision.co.uk www.(!64.56:886/HydroPrecision Quote Link to post
Tron 173
Good Man Ryan, Believe me I was not trying to be a A** H**E in making my comments as you know I have first hand experience of the pitfalls of falling foul of the savage laws made in the granting of section one and two licences by the various Police Authorities in England,( I say England because I dont know if there is any changes made in Scotland or Northen Ireland). ATBest, Tron. Quote Link to post
HydroPrecision 2
Hi Tron, No we understand you wern't trying to be funny with us like you say when it comes to the license issues you have to be 100% sure. If we do get the interest to warrent getting the RFB I will let you know then we can do your gun . ATB Ryan Quote Link to post
