ghillies 209 Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 i've seen a few posts here and there asking what is the best silenser, there's no way of saying for sure unless you know the barrel legnth and gun power etc etc, the only sure way is to take your gun to a shop, put them on one by one and hear it.. AWT's were pritty good but they make them from plastic with a semi shrouded bit, theyre good IF you can get one and theyre still going. the big old SAS silencer was good at one time..as were halfa dozen otheres, in general the shorter and thinner the worse.. you got to try and then buy...................you'll hear the one, or not hear it lol. Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701 Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 3 years ago i had aa s410k .22 and with the air arms silencer it hardly made a noise just the ding from the spring in the trigger or whatever that is hammerspring??? godknows lol im no gunsmith haha.. also it will sound louder if there is no pellet being loaded wont it??
