hi got a new permmison for magpies rooks and crows whats the best decoy and any tips got a good hide under some trees its only a large garden about half a acre not done much decoying got a pheasant is that any good as bait

not that i have done it but in past post the general best answer was said to be a small owl decoy with a dead magpie near it.

tbh the best thing to do is put a larsen trap out because they are very wary, but then again this makes it even better when you do shoot one

No you're not. You're doing it to control pests within the terms of the General License. You just happen to enjoy it as well.

dead rabbit with its guts out ..... flocked crow decoys x2 to make it look like a territorial pair or magpies mate also the falcon or owl with a dead crow or magpie will work

good good mate .... on second thourghts the dead falcon with a magpie etc would be ok for shotgun shooting but with and airgun i dont think the birds will come close enough hope it works let us know how you get on
