Looking back on here, somelads said that they actually left the family and stayed with the dogs.

its a lifetime commitment to both, but the family comes first always.

READ, a Lesson was learnt the hard way with agood outcome.

I nearly lost my famly over an argument and was told the dogs werent going to the new house, so in the heat of the moment i left, she was 2 weeks pregnant and imaginge the stress. i had my head in bits and so was hers. I was so stupid, but thats how much the dogs mean to me.

Eventually we got back together and Ive got the dogs and ferrets LOL up with me, and my lass understands how much they mean to me, I hope this puts things in perspective for some in similar situation,as i know there will be some. think before you open your mouth.

To add ive got it all, loving family and some world beating dogs. LOL.

Since then my lass has been in and out of hospital over 35 times in ayear and a half, most were 5-7 day stays, and ive managed with 3 kids, 5 dogs and been a carer for my mother.

Giving up because you haven't got the time due to pressing family matters is one thing, but I think it's unfair to expect someone to give up the game in the context you described above. It's a two way street and I've got no time for control freak women who expect blokes to bend to their will for petty reasons. It would suggest a deeper problem in a relationship if that sort of thing was accepted all the time by one partner. Issues like that should be sorted out early on if a couple are to make a real go of it and stay the distance. I'm speaking from experience though, not meaning to say anything about your relationship..

Are you Jeremy kyle MALT with that sort of advice
