Can I ?

Recommended Posts

Pup had first jabs last week and due the 2nd thursday, could I take her out for a little run now where not many other dogs go or should I really wait for the second jab. She's going skits in the kennel. Normally just wait until second jab but I know some vets just go over top.

I took mine out before she'd even had her jabs, just used to take her in the middle of nowhere where no other dogs go.

It's a risk but I wouldn't have thought it was a significant one....I know someone who's got two dogs, one is 11 and one is 8 and he's never had either of them jabbed and takes them to a park that's full of dogs and they've never had any problems! but I'm sure if you look hard enough you'll find someone who nipped their dog out for 5 minutes before the jab and it caught parvo.
