lewis johnson 0
Hi guys just bought a weihrauch and the barrel has been sanded down. Just wondering what would be best to do to it as i dont want to leave it as it is. I would like to get it back to a tidy looking gun. Any suggestions people Quote Link to post
77 si 21
hello mate, I bought a hw77 about four years ago with similar problems so I bought a birchwood casey blueing kit and redid the whole gun, it takes a good couple of days to do, because I wanted to take my time and do a good job of it. I still own the gun today and the blueing is as good as the first day I did it. The overall finish is a bit lighter than the original blueing that was on it when the gun was new though. Or if you decide that you don't want to do it yourself the you can send your gun of and get a professional to do it for you but this will cost considerably more I would have thought.
