thee undertaker 78 Posted February 26, 2012 Report Share Posted February 26, 2012 just reading the cmw 22.2.12 an come across this ( an unruly pheasant has been troubleing residents of a small staffordshire village by chasing away or launching vicious attacks on anyone who approachers him. the bird nicknames george is proving to be particulary aggressive to the local postman , who has now taken to carrying a stick on his local rounds . . . experts have advised people living in wooton that one way to get rid of george would be to feed him raisins soaked in rum , which would cause him to become drunk and drowsy , before moving him elsewhere . . . . ! ) i know what i would do ring its neck an prepare it for the pot . . . . just amazed me that a hunting mag wrote about a aggressive pheasant thats causing a problem to local residents . . . . atb. . . . .
